Η επιστροφή των Tears For Fears μετά από 17 χρόνια

Οι Tears For Fears ανακοίνωσαν την κυκλοφορία του νέου τους άλμπουμ μετά από 17 χρόνια με τίτλο “The Tipping Point”

Το άλμπουμ κυκλοφόρησε στις 25/02/2022 και είναι ήδη διαθέσιμο.

Roland Orzabal: “Before everything went so right with this album, everything first had to go wrong, it took years, but something happens when we put our heads together. We’ve got this balance, this push-me-pull-you thing – and it works really well.” Curt Smith agrees, “If that balance doesn’t work on a Tears For Fears album, the whole thing just doesn’t work. Και πρώτο single είναι το ομότιτλο The Tipping Point:

Ποιός δεν θυμάται τις μεγάλες επιτυχίες Shout, Everybody Wants To Rule The World, Sowing the Seeds Of Love που έκαναν μεγάλη επιτυχία στη δεκαετία του 80.

Το προηγούμενο άλμπουμ του συγκροτήματος Everybody Loves A Happy Ending κυκλοφόρησε το 2004 ενώ το 2007 κυκλοφόρησαν το Greatest Hits “Rule The World” που περιείχε δύο νέα τραγούδια, το “Stay” και το “I Love You but I’m Lost”. Το άλμπουμ μάλιστα αυτό ανέβηκε μέχρι το #12 των βρετανικών charts και έγινε το 6ο άλμπουμ του συγκροτήματος που μπήκε στο Top-20.
