Συνεργασία Suggs και Paul Weller στο τραγούδι ‘Ooh Do U Fink U R’
Δύο θρυλικά ονόματα της βρετανικής σκηνής συνεργάζονται σε ένα υπέροχο τραγούδι. Ο frontman του θρυλικού συγκροτήματος των Madness, Suggs, και ο θρυλικός Paul Weller ηχογράφησαν το τραγούδι ‘Ooh Do U Fink U R’.
Η έμπνευση για τη συνεργασία γεννήθηκε όταν ο Suggs κάλεσε τον Paul Weller στο Radio Four του BBC
Ένα τραγούδι εύθυμο και αισιόδοξο και η ενορχήστρωση θυμίζει λίγο Motown αλλά και Beatles
Το τραγούδι βασίζεται σε μια φράση που άκουσαν στην σχολική τάξη πίσω στη δεκαετία του 70
Όπως αναφέρει ο Suggs :
“‘‘Ooh Do U Fink U R’ was a phrase I heard more often than I wished and sums up my school years- constantly being told to know my place and keep in my box, being given no encouragement but still never giving in, and never giving up. Chatting to Paul reminded me of those experiences. We both found enthusiasm and a purpose in music, and that pulled us through!”
Ενώ ο Paul Weller αναφέρει :
“Me and Suggs have been talking about doing something together for the last few years so to see it finally happen is amazing! I love the tune and working with him. He’s truly a man of many talents. We wanted to do something special and I really think this track is.”
Το τραγούδι κυκλοφορεί ήδη digital σε όλες τις ψηφιακές πλατφόρμες ενώ στις 17 Ιουνίου την ημέρα του Πατέρα, θα κυκλοφορήσει και σε συλλεκτικό βινύλιο.
