O Uzoechi “Uzo” Emenike ή γνωστός ως MNEK είναι Βρετανός καλλιτέχνης και έχει γράψει τραγούδια ή έχει κάνει παραγωγή για καλλιτέχνες όπως Beyoncé ( Hold Up από το ‘Lemonade’), Madonna (Living For Love από το ‘Rebel Heart’), Kylie Minogue, Dua Lipa, Diplo, Zara Larsson και MØ (Final Song). Μεγαλύτερη του επιτυχία το “Never Forget You” μαζί με την Zara Larsson. O MNEK επιστρέφει με ένα νέο single που σίγουρα θα προκαλέσει αίσθηση μιας και χρησιμοποιεί sample ενός dance classic του 1997.

Το νεό future hit ονομάζεται ‘Paradise’ και ακούγοντας το θα σας έρθει στο μυαλό το ‘Free’ της Ultra Naté. Το video του ‘Paradise’ περιέχει ένα ηχηρό μήνυμα κατά της αστυνομικής βίας. Σχετικά με αυτό ο MNEK δήλωσε:

The concept of the video is a very beautiful man by the name of Dennis walking this alternate universe a.k.a. Paradise, and it, in its own way, just shows how beautiful things can be, how dark things can be — but how we get to a happy place in the end. I think police brutality is something that shouldn’t be a thing. Police are supposed to protect us, and in the majority of cases they do, but unfortunately sometimes they abuse their power. It’s a shame it’s the world we live in, and it was important to show that in the video.
