Η μεγαλύτερη γιορτή της ευρωπαϊκής μουσικής επέστρεψε για 27η συνεχόμενη χρονιά! Ο λόγος φυσικά για τα MTV EMAs 2020!
Με επιτυχία πραγματοποιήθηκαν τα φετινά βραβεία MTV EMAs. Δεδομένης της κατάστασης εξ ‘αιτίας του covid-19, πραγματοποιήθηκε ένα virtual ceremony όπως συνέβη και με τα MTV VMAs 2020. Στην παρουσίαση βρέθηκαν οι Little Mix! Λόγω ενός θέματος υγείας η Jessy Nelson απήχε ωστόσο κανονικά στο πόστο τους βρέθηκαν τα υπόλοιπα κορίτσια.
Την φετινή κούρσα υποψηφιοτήτων οδήγησε η Lady Gaga με 7 υποψηφιότητες. Ακολουθούθησαν οι BTS και ο Justin Bieber με 5. Οι BTS κατάφεραν να κερδίσουν 4 βραβεία και αναδείχθηκαν οι μεγάλοι νικητές της βραδιάς. Από δύο βραβεία απέσπασαν οι Karol G, Lady Gaga και Little Mix.
Για πρώτη φορά δόθηκε βραβείο στις εξής κατηγορίες: Best Latin, Video for Good και Best Virtual Live.
